Overnight Oats

So in the past week or so, i’ve decided to add Oats into my diet again. Gluten free of course. And boy oh boy am i enjoying them for breakfast.

I’d seen some recipes and pictures on pinterest for overnight oats, and decided to give it a shot.

There is sooo many different ways to make these, that its kinda addicting coming up with new creations.

Pumpkin Spiced Overnight Oats with Banana

Ingredients:

  • 40g Oats
  • 1 Banana
  • Hazelnut milk
  • Water
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • natvia to taste

Method:

  1. mix oats, pumpkin spice and natvia in a bowl
  2. add just enough milk to cover the oats
  3. place oats into an air tight container (i use an emptied honey glass jar)
  4. add water to make a slightly runny consistency
  5. replace lid, and shake. Put the oats in the fridge for the night
  6. remove oats in the morning and spoon out into bowl (or if glass jar is big enough, you can eat them straight from the jar)
  7. slice up banana and add to oats
  8. either eat cold, or heat up to desired temperature

(i’m yet to take a good picture of them, so stay tuned for an update 😉 )

Blueberry and Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 40g Oats
  • 1 Banana
  • Hazelnut milk
  • Water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • natvia to taste
  • 1/3 cup of blueberries

Method:

  1. mix oats, cinnamon and natvia in a bowl
  2. add just enough milk to cover the oats, slice up banana and add to oats
  3. place oats into an air tight container (i use an emptied honey glass jar)
  4. add water to make a slightly runny consistency
  5. replace lid, and shake. Put the oats in the fridge for the night
  6. remove oats in the morning and spoon out into bowl (or if glass jar is big enough, you can eat them straight from the jar)
  7. heat up oats to desired temperature
  8. add cold or frozen berries, and serve

I have tons of other ideas, and i’ll them with you as them are created.
